The Power of Good Community with Kelli Jones

Join me today as I interview Kelli Jones! She was our first young adult sponsored for our 12 Week Soul Care Intensive, through our non-profit, Yellow Soul, by a precious Soul Care Advocate in our community. She opens up with us about being adopted, her academic achievements and challenges, and the progressive healing in her brain through her journey of Soul Care. Kelli believes so deeply in this process that she has become a voice of hope by sharing and referring so many in her community to begin their own journey! 

In this episode, Kelli and I dive into some specific areas:

1. What counteracts co-dependency.
2. The faith of friends who carry you when you can't carry yourself.
3. Why we believe that showing up, learning to trust, and being vulnerable among good community, changes everything.

Kelli shares: “I truly believe facing your past and when you've gone through things is a beautiful journey and process to go on. Sometimes people are afraid to face it because they think it will last forever, but it won't last forever. I believe for my generation there are levels of freedom they have access to more than we can think, dream, or imagine. Sitting with the finished work of the cross and really allowing the Lord to minister to us so He can fully equip us and free us for our future.”
